Cafe Kyiv, Noah and us club
Essentially, the following story is about 70 orphans from Ukraine, the NOAH organization, and the Cafe Kyiv organization that brought us together. And now for the details :)
The private social organization CAFE KYIV is based in Linz and now supports a community of over 1.350 displaced Ukrainians and their families.
· Since March 2022, over 9.000 refugees have been provided with free food and drink
· Over 1.800 SIM cards were distributed free of charge (including 2 months of top-up credit) so that contact with those left behind, friends and relatives in Ukraine, can be maintained.
· To date, over 3.500 consultations have been conducted – who helps in Linz OÖ in what form and who is the contact person and which steps need to be taken.
To date, over 60 workshops and information events have been held
August 24.08.2022, XNUMX, was Ukrainian Independence Day and half a year of war – numerous media outlets reported.
Among others, ORF OÖ – the association NOAH (St. Georgen/Attergau) was looking for 60 PCs so that Ukrainian orphans could remain in Austria (the Ukrainian state issued an ultimatum: either online lessons or the children would return to Ukraine).
The Vienna Association - PCs für alle – was immediately ready to fulfill this mission after our contact and even worked extra shifts on weekends to repair devices, set them up (in Ukrainian), and prepare them for shipping (the association also covers the shipping costs).
The devices are now ready in time for the start of school, and thanks to this association, the Ukrainian orphans can remain in Austria and participate in online classes.

The joint networking of these two social organizations has made it possible for Ukrainian orphans to remain in Austria and continue to receive education.
