Generous donation: ÖAMTC supports digital participation with over 300 devices
A major step towards digital inclusion
We are delighted to receive exceptional support: The ÖAMTC has donated a grant to our club "PCs für alle"Over 300 used but fully functional laptops and tablets were donated. This generous donation in kind is a strong sign of social responsibility and impressively demonstrates how companies can make a real difference through sustainable practices."
Enabling digital participation
In an increasingly digital society, access to computers and the internet is no longer a luxury, but a prerequisite for education, employment, and social participation. This is precisely where our work comes in: We professionally refurbish donated IT equipment and distribute it to people who cannot afford their own. The donation from the ÖAMTC enables us to provide hundreds of families, students, job seekers, and people in difficult circumstances with urgently needed IT equipment.
Sustainability meets social commitment
The collaboration with ÖAMTC demonstrates in an exemplary way how ESG responsibility (Environmental, Social, Governance) works in practice:
Environmental impact : Reusing functional IT equipment prevents premature disposal and conserves valuable resources. Every reused device means less electronic waste and a smaller carbon footprint – an important contribution to the circular economy.
Social : The donated devices reduce the digital divide and create equal opportunities. Whether for online learning, job applications, or staying in touch with family and friends – these laptops and tablets open doors and enable participation.
Governance (Corporate Management) : With this campaign, the ÖAMTC demonstrates that responsible resource management and social commitment are firmly anchored in its corporate strategy.
