PCs for everyone repaired now for everyone
We often receive broken computers that can be made to work again simply by replacing parts. It's great for us and the future new owners, but a shame for the donors, who have to spend a lot of money to buy a new device. For some, this poses considerable problems. For us, these cases create a bit of a "hole open, hole closed" feeling. While we can help someone with a device, it may be at the expense of people who can't easily afford it either.
That's why we came up with the idea of offering an alternative here from now on. Anyone who wants to can have their defective device inspected by us. If a repair is possible through the simple replacement of parts, we can offer this service for a small fee. And the best part: the Ministry of the Environment covers a large portion of this cost through a repair bonus. You can find more information here: Repair Bonus Website
Our business license only allows us to perform very specific work on computers—repairs of other devices are not possible. All proceeds, of course, go entirely to the association.
