Students bring laptops to life
Around 100 discarded laptops are getting a second chance – thanks to dedicated students of the Evangelical Gymnasium and Werkschulheim Wien and the generous support of the mobile network operator DREI.
Once again, young people from Protestant Gymnasium and Vocational School in 1030 Vienna at the club PCs für alle They pitched in energetically: As part of a joint reprocessing operation, around 100 Laptops Overhauled, cleaned and prepared for distribution to people in need.
The devices were provided by the mobile network operator THREE provided – to a long-standing and reliable partner of PCs für alleDREI has been supporting the association for many years, thus making an important contribution to digital participation in Austria.
"When students work together with their teacher and at the same time a company like DREI donates devices, it creates a real impact – for people who would otherwise have no access to digital technology."
The young people were accompanied by Professor Roncat , who not only took over the organization but also actively participated. His commitment demonstrates how sustainable education and social engagement can go hand in hand.
