Support for education in Tanzania: PCs für alle im einsatz
At the end of July we were able to PCs für alle six laptops Prof. Ing. Klaus Karpf www.haup.ac.at/team/klaus-karpf by the University of Agricultural and Environmental Education. The devices have now reached their new users in Tanzania:
4 Laptops went to university AMUCTA in Tabora
2 Laptops were sent to the Manus Dei Secondary School passed on in Kibwigwa
The devices therefore make an important contribution to digital education and equal opportunities – for both students and local pupils.
Prof. Karpf has supported educational initiatives in Tanzania for years and personally delivered the laptops. In his thank-you letter, he emphasizes the importance of such donations and hopes for further collaboration:
"Thank you very much for generously donating the laptops. I would be very happy if it were possible to take your devices back to Tanzania again."
We are very pleased that our refurbished devices are finding their way directly into classrooms and universities in Tanzania and are being used for better learning and teaching opportunities can worry.
Thank you very much Prof. Karpf for his commitment – and to all those who, through their support, enable digital opportunities to be shared worldwide.
