VOLKSBANK WIEN AG donates over 300 PCs to needy children

With this generous donation of equipment, Volksbank Wien wants to make its contribution to equal opportunities, says VOLKSBANK WIEN AG General Director Gerald Fleischmann.

On 5 March, VOLKSBANK Wien AG handed over more than 300 laptops and PCs and 61 monitors from the bank’s inventory to the non-profit association "PCs für alle“Currently, almost all devices are going to children who urgently need the computers for homeschooling due to the Corona pandemic,” explains Patrice Fuchs from “PCs für alleThe current situation is putting many families under pressure. Much of the teaching is still taking place at home, but suitable equipment is often lacking.

“The computers and monitors can help ensure that children from needy families do not fall behind,” says VOLKSBANK WIEN AG General Director Gerald Fleischmann.
