The municipality of Dubivska has once again received valuable humanitarian aid from the Republic of Austria – made possible through the support of the international charity Kiwanis Clubs Austria (Leonding) and thanks to the personal initiative and coordination of our compatriot, the volunteer Ivan Shimon.

The aid shipment included over-the-counter medications, medical supplies, hospital beds, school furniture, wheelchairs, bedding, children's toys, and many other essential everyday items.

The aid was distributed as follows:

✅ Some of the medicines, medical supplies, and hospital beds went to the hospital in Dubivka, where they are contributing to better patient care.
✅ The Transcarpathian Polytechnic College received school desks, chairs and office furniture to improve its facilities.
✅ Kindergartens in the community were supplied with toys and bedding – for a more pleasant learning environment for the little ones.
✅ Internally displaced persons temporarily housed in the community received bedding and other essential items.
✅ Two people with mobility impairments have already received electric wheelchairs. Additional mechanical wheelchairs are available and can be requested through the municipal council.

This aid is an expression of mutual trust, lived solidarity, and genuine humanity. It strengthens our health and education infrastructure and provides direct support to those who need it most.

A heartfelt thank you to Ivan Shimon and the partners from Austria for their active support and compassionate commitment. Your support is far more than material assistance—it is a powerful symbol of partnership, compassion, and solidarity.
