Our organization thrives on the commitment of many volunteers. Whether repairing devices or collecting donations, every helping hand counts! If you're interested in technology, enjoy getting involved, and want to facilitate digital participation, you've come to the right place.

Help in the workshop

In our workshop, we transform used devices into functioning computers. Here you can:

Receive devices and prepare them for distribution
Installing and replacing hard drives
Install operating systems and software
carry out minor repairs
Distribute devices and support people with questions

Previous technical knowledge is helpful, but not required - we'll show you everything you need.

Help with the collection of equipment

Many devices come from businesses or private households in Vienna and the surrounding area. For these pickups, we are looking for volunteers with their own vehicles who:

independently collect devices from donors
coordinate the handover
bring the equipment to the warehouse or workshop

We will provide you with access to our internal CMS, where you can select and organize suitable pickups in your area yourself.

Do I need any technical knowledge to help?: No. A technical interest is helpful in the workshop, but we'll show you everything. Anyone can help – regardless of experience.
How much time do I have to invest?: You decide how often you want to help. Whether it's one afternoon a month or regularly—we appreciate any support.
Where is the workshop located?: Our workshop is located at Lechnerstrasse 2-4, 1030 Vienna.
What exactly do I do when picking up?: You pick up devices from donors in Vienna and the surrounding area and bring them to our workshop. You decide which pickups you handle – everything is handled through our internal system.
Do I need to have my own car to help with the pickup?: Yes, you will need your own car for pickups. You will have access to our CMS, where you can select pickups near you.
