We are a handful of nerds and philanthropists, and we take great joy in giving other people the chance for a better future.

Patrice Fuchs

She studied psychology and photography. She has been volunteering for NGOs and political initiatives since her youth. She is a journalist and filmmaker, among other things.

Between 2003 and 2005, she was the national chairwoman of the Austrian National Union of Students and launched "Macken," the first child-friendly coffeehouse in Vienna. Afterwards, she worked as an editor and program director at the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) until 2014. In 2015, she launched the urban and educational family magazine "Familie Rockt" (Family Rocks) and, through her articles and advocacy, helped many families in need find housing, apprenticeships, and other support.

As a foster mother, she regularly gives encouraging talks to prospective foster parents, is active in the women's rights organization "Terre des Femmes," and supports the association "NF Kinder." Learn more about Patrice at Wikipedia
