Thomas Moerdinger

By profession, he's the managing director of the Association for the Enforcement of the Rights of Victims of Discrimination. Prior to that, he represented the interests of the Austrian environmental movement and volunteered for an NGO specializing in asylum and migration. He's a democracy fan, a long-distance runner, and a dog lover.

educational initiative

The NL40 association's Grandma/Grandpa project is an educational initiative that connects generations. Children and young people who receive insufficient support in their social environment are cared for in a one-to-one ratio by seniors and younger volunteers. Together, they complete homework, read, and play games. A team of experts accompanies the learning pairs. The project creates spaces for encounters and respectful interaction at its locations in Vienna, Krems, and Amstetten.
